MEETING ROOM/BASEMENT POLICY

The Alexander Public Library welcomes the public use of it's meeting room and basement facilities in keeping with the library's mission to "Encourage lifelong learning and enrich the quality of life by anticipating and responding to community needs for information, technology, culture and recreations."

The library board subscribes to the tenets of the Library Bill of Rights, which states in part, "libraries which make exhibit spaces and meeting rooms/basement available to the public they serve should make such facilities available on an equitable basis, regardless of the beliefs or affiliations of individuals or groups requesting their use."

The library will give a signed copy of the Meeting Room/Basement Use Policy to the responsible party using the meeting room/basement.
